Youth for Better India is taking the lead in organizing a rally on Necklace Road, Hyderabad, as part of a nation-wide "India Stands against Corruption" program at 8-00 a.m. on January 30, Mahatma Gandhi's death anniversary.

Prominent citizens and civil society organizations, transcending their political and other differences, are organizing the program in 40 cities across the country demanding the institution of an independent, powerful anti corruption mechanism.

Lok Satta Party President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan will be taking part in the Necklace Road rally.

Lok Satta Party President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan will be the chief guest at a national-level youth summit VIT University, Vellore, is organizing on January 28.

The summit, with the theme "INDIA – EMERGE," will focus on the role of youth in building up India as a super power.

Dr. JP will also be launching a news website, 'The Gandhi Broadsheet' of the Gandhi Centre, and taking part in its 'Youth for Peace" program.
